hey! i'm a rookie-ish cosplayer, an' admirin' your skills, was wonderin' what you use for stubble makeup? i've tried eyeshadow --- which works for pictures --- but doesn't hold a candle for cons.

okay, so basically, what i use is also eyeshadow. but what you need is a stipple sponge. you dampen the sponge slightly, press it into the eyeshadow until you have a small amount on there, and then that produces the stipply, stubbly effect. it’s the method i use for both photos and cons, and it looks semi-passable as real stubble, as long as someone’s not right up in your face staring at it, haha.
